MOROCCAN WAR-General Serrano (left) commanded the Spanish columns that broke the rebel ring around the sacred city of Xouen, Morocco. Baja El Najl Ba-Kall (right) held the city with native troops for 25 days while Sorrano's soldiers word hammering away at the revolutionists cutside its walls. The baja since has been decorated for his courageous defence of the city.

EXPLORER'S RETURN.-Kaud Rasmussen, famous Danish explorer, has returned from

the arctic with two Eskimos. He will show them the white man's civilization and then take them back to their home in Greenland. This picture, taken when they roached Minneapolis, shows thom, left to right, Leo Hanson, photographer who accompanied the explorer; Melek, Eskimo youth; Anarylunguak, Eskimo girl, and Rasmussen.
