THE LAW FORBIDS"
Here is a picture that is a compelling combina tion of power and charm. A story that has been taken from the heart of an American family of to-day. A vital theme in which men, women and children will find thrill and emotional enthusiasm-hearts crushed by the law-the refreshing faith of an innocent child-the lure of Broadway's lights and loves.

Artificial sunray treatment was one of the many novelties shown to doctors at the British Medical Exhibition in Central Hall, Westminster. A press representa. tive was shown how patients who needed the valued rays of the sun may become sunburnt even in the dullost weather. The apparatus, for producing the sunray is a homisphorical aluminium rofloc- tor and a silica morcury vapour. lamp, and it is so adjusted that, when the arc of light is directed upon the patient, a characteristic sunburn appears in four to six hours. This of course, is produc- ed by the rays penetrating the tissues, and it is claimed that it is an officient in many resposta agad sunlight, and that exact doses of Beavenue from Hiddles Antwerp & Lond n left Bingapore for thin pɔrk on. sunlight can be measured out. the 4th iost, and may be expected to arrive bero on 10th Idem.
