A SUCCESSFUL YEAR. Capt. T. Arthur, the seling Commádure, presided yesterday at the annual meeting of the Royal Hongkong Yacht Club. There was a good minber of members prascht, and the following Committée mem- hers: Commodore Grace, Messrs E. W. Carpentor, H. S. Rouse, D. II. Blake, D. G. Logan, R. C. Moncrief and Mr. A. Kitchio (Hon. Trens).

In proposing the adoption of the! roport and accounts, the Chaltung said they all regretted the absence of Mr. D. K. Blair, the Commodore. I had been his privilege to Jendenvour to fill his place sinen be left. However, he was not without hope of seeing him in the chair on a tuture ocension.
