Our flosting raft was leased to the firm bolonging to Mr. Woo Lai Tai, a British con- corn,and-the term of lonso is still unexpired.

Sometime ago the present Bupt. of Custom, Wuchow cancelled the lease of the water front to us and seized and confiscated our

floating raft.

We have lodged a protest and complaint with the proper Chinese Authorities which is still pending and we beg most respectfully to notify the public not to purchase or mortgage or lease our floating raft from any one until further notico.
