ANOTHER ADDITION TO SHANGHAI BUND-LINE.: .

SHANGHAI'S NEW BANK.-People who have been absent from Shanghai fór some years are already beginning to gasp at the astounding changes in the architectural row along the Bund. In antother two or three years these changes are likely to be even more radical. This picture shows the latest addition to the Bund's magnificent buildings, the newspremises of the Yokohama Specie Bank.

BANK'S DOORS SWING OPEN.-With simple corainonies, the beautifully carved metal doors of the new Yokohama Specie Bank building at 24 the Bund, Shanghat, were swung open recently.

"The first to enter the bank after the doors were formally opened was Mr. Gengo Hashidzumne, who is shown in the picture standing at the entr- ance. Mr. Hashidzume has been manager of the Shanghal branch. since Novembar, 1923. He is seen standing with Mr. M. Odagiri and Mr. N. Igarashi, directors of the bank. who came from Japan to attend the opening. Mr. Odgiri was Japanese Consul-General to Shanghai 20 years ago.
