Last week in the premises of the Young Men's Lecturing Group, near the Small West Gate, Shanghai, a memorial service for M. Lenin was held under the auspices of the various local Chinese organizations, Over 300 persons, representing more than 30 public bodies, attended the service, which was presided over by Mr. Hu Hao-ming Speeches were made by members of leading unions. In the bottom picture will be seen the platform on which were exhibited memorial, gifts from both public bodies and individuals, and in the picture above, are seen some of the followers of Lenin's "ideals.”
