THE MACDONALD INTERVIEW.

Paris, Jan. 28. Commenting on Mr. Macdonald's interview, the Eclair says that Mr. Macdonald asks everything, without promising France anything. The Echo de Paris says Mr. Macdonald is at present most cautions, but he must sooner or later vote in favour of methods of reparations very difficult to reconcile with Franco-Belgian policy. A violent rapture is thus possible.-Reuter.
