MEXICAN REBELLION.

In proposing the adoption of the accounts, the Chairman remarked that the balance sheet showed a defeit of $165, due chiefly to the heavy expenditure incurred in entertaining the Interport team from Shanghai, which amounted to $724. On the motion of the Chairman. seconded by the Hon. Mr. A. R. Lowe, the accounts were passed.

Various suggestions in regard to the alterations of the Associa- tion's rules were then introduced. A auggested amendment, which the Chairman described as a very sound one, was that the sum of $10 as entrance fee to the League be deleted, the amount to be de cided before the League starts.
