BRITAIN'S DEBT TO AMERICA.

Washington, Dec.,JS. Britain has paid her half-yearly debt instalment of 292.000.000. of which £22,000,000 applies to principal.

New York, Dec. 15. Messrs. Morgans have deposited--$91,000,000 in Liberty Bonds with the Federal Reserve Bank, to cover the next British instalment of the War Debts.

Bankers estimate that Britain saved nearly two million dollars through using Liberty Bonds.-Reuter's American Service.

THE MEXICAN REVOLT.

Washington, Dec. 15. The Mexican fighting is nearing the capital. The rebela claim to have virtually annihilated the Federal troops near Jalapa.
