The Persian merchant Haji Mohammed Hussan Namazee, who has spent thirty-two years chiefly in Hongkong, has presented the Church Missionary Society with a fully-equipped maternity hospital: for Shiraz, and will also contribute twelve hundred pounds sterling annually towards the upkeep Miss E. Thomas, now at Yezd, and Doctor Emmeline Stuart, of Shiraz, will be in charge.
