Warren Gamaliel Harding, twenty-eighth President of the United States, was 57 years of age. He was born on an Ohio farm, worked his way through college and became a linotype operator in a newspaper office early in life. By the largest majority is Presidential election records, he was chosen President of the United States in November, 1920, and entered on his high responsibilities in March of the following year.
