The Medical Officer of Health (Dr. W. W. Pearse) warned the Sanitary Board at yesterday after noon's meeting of the possibility of another bad outbreak of smallpox as soon as the cold weather ar rives and suggested the inaugura tion of a, vaccination campaign.

Dr. Pearse called the attention of the Board, and through the Prese the attention of the public, to the fact that smallpox was staying with us somewhat longer this year. Many cases of smallpox, which were notified during the last few weeks, owed their infection to something which happened 15 days, and in some cases three weeks be- I fore.
