The Recent Jamboree. The following letter has been

sent to us:

It may be of interest to sym- pathisers of the Roy Scout move- ment in this Colony to know some. thing of the results of the recent Jamboree. Financially there was a loss of $116.13, which may be accounted for by the bad westber eonditions which prevailed at the time, affecting the attendance» at the Concert on bath nights. This Coes, however, is far outweigh- ed by great gains in other direc. tions, not least of which is the increased activity on the part of the Scouts themselves, who tuliy appreciate the ipterest shown in and support given to their efforts on that occasion.
