POLISH BOY SCOUTS.

Warsaw: Along with the rapid

progress of reconstruction and organization in every branch of life in Poland one can notice also the gradual development of sports in this country. Polish football

This same can be said about other forms of sport, which is especially ski-ing rapidly developing in Polsod particularly in the beatiful Tatra (Carpathian) mountain district.

The greatest impulse has been, given to the development of the Polish boy scouts organization. Having about 60,000 members, it occupies the third place in the world (after the United States of America and the United King- dom) and the first place on the European continent. Polish boy scout societies are in con- stant touch with almost all other éxisting boy scout organizations in the world having in view the betterment of their own sasocia- tions. As one of the best means for 'sach intercourse, excursions of Polish boy scouts abroad and visits of foreign boy scouts to Poland take place at regular intervals.
