Anderson and other well-known Queensland sheep and casile breeders trading under the style of the Glover Meat Company, upon which it is proposed to erect! cold storage accommodation to Įdeal with a large trade in frozen meet from Queensland and New South Wales, and în general pro- Guce from those states, and also. from Hongkong and Saigon. The proposals involve in expandi- ture of a considerable sum upen the installation of up-to-date plant. There will be accommoda- tion for dealing with 20,000 cattle, the freezing block being capable of treating three thousand tons. In addition, there will be several chambers which will be available i for hiring. The plant is ready in Australia awaiting shipment and the officials who are to be engaged! on the erection of the buildings: are on their way to Singapore at the present moment. It is stated! that arrangements will be made to provide for the slaughtering of the beasts in Australis by Moha- medaa butchers-Free Press.
