The best game in the Hongkong Cricket Club tennis tournament on Thursday WL6 started Во late that it was found impossible to faish it and it will have to be all played over again. M. W. After Lo was leading in the first eet st 4.1 be gradually pulled up. making it four all and then playing the steadier game went on to win at 7-5, In the second set Lo was frequently up at the net but Rumjahn countered with some accurately placed shots up the sideline and often had the Chinese player beaten. Lo won the third Hot fairly easily, placing very ac- curately..

Two other games were played in the Singles Obampionship, Thomas Lay defeating F. Wheeler in three straight sets and V. Yvanovich taking three out of four sets from Yew Man-taun.

The results were:

Open Champion Singles: Thomas Lay beat F. Wheeler 6-3, 6-2, 6-4;| 3. Ivanovich beat Yew Man-tsur 6 3, 6-2, 4 6, 7-5.
