In the King's Bench Division, last month Mr. Laurence Cowen.) author and playwright, of a.) Mr. D'Albuquerque said that on July 1921, Mrs. Wallis, Mr. Cowen's housekeeper, wrote to Miss Corelli saying that she had heard that Miss Corelli wanted a furnished housy at Weston-super- Mare and tha: Mr.Cowen's house would be free for visitors from August 24. Mrs. Wallis added that the house was beautifully furnished and had a garden and a garage. Miss Corelli replied that she wanted rooms at the; end of July and could noti wait until August 24. but that if she could have a sitting-roam with a good view and ■ large bed-room with a maid's room until all the rooms were available she could manage. Miss Corelli continued:-
