A report that the Chinese authorities contemplate removal of the Kiangnen Arsenal equip. ment to Kunghsien, Honed, is again current in the Chinese press. The Sinuampoo states that the Director of the Arsenal has received instructions from the Ministry of War to prepare for the removal of the rifle and gua- making machinery, the buildings, at Kungbeien now being ready for their reception.
