Wholesale mor- chants, however, _are placing orders for porcelain, and the manufacturers are now very busy. As the result of a reduction in output since last spring, the stock in the hands of the manufacturers is very small and they are unable to execute orders in haste. In addition, the manufacturers are, suffering from shortage of fu ds! and are in baate to get cash. It is expected that the quotations of porcelain will decline still further.
