BOTTOMLEY IN PRISON.
How He Spent His First Day.
Horatio Bottomley spent his first day at Wormwood Scrubs in getting accustomed to the daily programme of prison life. Howar seatenced on May 29.
He was called by a warder to wash and dress, tidy bis ceil, and fold up his bedding. Soon after the door was unlocked, and, with other, he was marched to the exercise yard on the far side of the chapel.
Here he paced round and round the oblong enclosure and its conrreted pathways for nearly so hour. He Way not allowed to speak to anyone, bot by a natural instinct the others, many who had been in the prison for months, knew who the new. comer was.
