A KIDNAPPED BOY.

Before Mr. J. A. Fraser at the Magistracy resterday afternoon a Chinese was charged with cons- piring to kidnap a boy and with being an accesary to the kidnap ping. Another man was charged with kidnapping the boy.
Mr. G. G. N. Tinson prosecuted on behalf of the boy's father, a solicitor's clerk, and Mr. M. K. Lo defended the first accused, who is said to be Private Secretary to a former Civil Governor of Can- iton.
The circumstances as related by the prosecuting solicitor were that the kidnapped boy, who was 14 years old on the day of the (October 8th. alleged offence 1921), Eved with his parents at 24.
