Mr. F. T. Courtney, in a DH 18 machine, recently made a successful trip from Paris to Croydoo, flying at 10,000 ft and above the clouds. Ho Bow on a compass course until he was able to get into touch with (Croydon wireless by telephone, and then asked for his position and course to steer. Croydon gave him a course, and, in conjunction with Pulba, found and gave him his exact position. Fresh positions and courses were sent out from time to time, and a successful landing was made at Croydon.
