Shipowaars will be interested in the announcement that the Panama Canal authorities, who have hitherto acted as agents. for some yeasels in transit, will no longer continue to do so free of charge. It is understood that in the future the agency business will be conducted by the Panarea Railway Company, which is m | department of the Panama Canal, ut a fee of $50.
