The cut-glass cigarette holder, coloured to match bat or gown, is the latest fad Binong the elite at Palm Beach. Miss Corinne Barker, New York debutante, was the first to introduce it at the Florida resort.
Miss Dorothy Vicaji, a young English girl, is winning fame by her remarkable skill in painting European women, Two of her oils that have attracted attention are of Mr. David Lloyd George, wife of the premier, and Queen Mother Alexandra.
The new Piskop (French) avionette is constructed entirely of metal and its planes can be detached and the machine carried to and from the flying field in a liton motor truck. The tested speed of the machine is 120 kilometers an hour.
