A Canadian golf club has solved the problem of the "blind" hole on the link. A periscope is used to see if the player drives. Thus the danger of a black ere from the little who ball is avoided. And balls are lost less fre- quently.
It may or may not be true that Suzanne Lenglen, European tennis champion, has given up tennis as reported. but it is true that she has taken up golf. Here she is learning to drive at Nice, France.

These pictures of x-President Woodrow Wilsea were taken upon the sixty-fifth anniversary of his birth. He pored for them in front of his home, 2340 S Street, Washington. This is the first time he has appeared for his photograph, unattended, since he left the White House. He appears in better health than at any time since bis breakdown.
Women of all ages engage in the strenuoua game of hockey in Berlin. Notice the variance in ages of the players pictured above. These are professionals playing in a series of games.
