"Many strange cures by faith healing have been observ. ed and recorded all over the world.. The most recent and in some respecta the most, remarkable of such cures, bow- aver, bave been effected by Pastor Stephen Jeffreys, who conducts faith healing meetings at Horbury church, Not- ting-bill Gate, England, and whose meeting are crowded by people desiring to be cured of their ills. Photo shows Pastor Jeffreys anointing a woman, who is suffering from shattered nerves.

On the arrival at Washington of the Rt. Hon. Arthur J. Balfour, acting head of the British delegation to the arms conference, was met at the Union Station by Secretary of State Hughes, Lord Lee of Fareham, who is a British delegate, and other diguftarien Bal.. four was accompanied by Sir John Saimond, New Zealand's sepresentative at the conference, and the Earl of Cavau, principal military adviser to the British armi delegation.
