SURVEY OF CHINA'S COAST. The Chinese Hydrographic Bureau, acting under the instruc- tion of the Ministry of Navy, bas formulated a definite plan for re- surveying the Coast of China. The Ministry has desiguated two warships, the yacht Lienking and the cruiser Tungcbi for this im- portant work, with the instruc- tion that it should be scientifically carried out. The first named vessel is to undertake the survey- ing of territorial waters with the definition and delimitation laid down by the Chinese Gasero- ment in conformity with inter- national law, while the latter will undertake work of A similar nature on the high seas, adjacent to the territorial waters.
