The second meeting of the Ex- ecutive Committee of the Prince of Wales' Visit Committer was hald

The Chairman opened the meeting by presenting to the Committee the proposed special rote which will be brought before the Finance Committee of the Le- rislative Council at their next meeting on Thursday. The vote is to include all expenses in con-i nection with the celebrations of the Prince's visit, to pay for the erection of the special pavilion which will be built on the site of the proposed cenotaph in Queen's Square in which the presentation af addresses and sundry receptions and the big dance on the second evening will be held.

The Decorations Sub-Committee proposed that some $100,000 be asked for. This was agreed to unanimously by the Executive Committee and will be placed be. fore the Finance Committee 03 Thursday. The Chairman then proposed that the address, which is to embody the names of repre- sentatives of the whole community. should be presented to the Prince by Sir Paul Chater, the Chairman of the General Committee. This was unanimously carried.

A sub-Committee was then no- minated to prepare the address. Mr. Montagne Ede proposed Mr. Justice Gompertz and Mr. S. B. C. Ross as members. It was proposed that the work of embroidering and decorating the address should be done by Messrs. Kelly and Walsh upon the advice of L2-Col. Bird.
