The hearing was continged at the Magistracy yesterday after. noon of the case in which a man and a woman appeared on a re quisition from the Canton authori ties for their surrender to Canton on a charge of stealing about $1,100 worth of jewellery from Chang Cheungyam, a bunker, who cizims the woman as his COR- cabine.

Mr. T. M. Hazlerigg, Assistant Crown Solicitor, represented the Crown. Mr. G. K. Hall Brutton appeared for the defendants.
