During the last year or two greater atten- tion has been paid to this ques- tion than formerly and the aver- age speed of all classes of vossela is greater now than before the war. By making these im- provements in the line the United Netherlands Navigation Company will come into more direct com. petition with the ships of the Bluej Funnel Line, both in regard to speed and class of vessel used.
