The troops of the Essex Re- giment encountered a party of armed rebels, at Cloon- Kilbrittain, dennen, ačt, of
West Cork, on the night of the- 10th-11th inet, says one report. An engagement fol- owed, resulting in one rebel bring killed and six Diners captured. There were no mili- tary casualties.
