Subsidy Arrangements for London-Paris Service.

London, April 21.

In the House of Commons, introducing the Air Estimates, Capt. Guest, dealing with a sum of £107,000 for air services to Egypt, mostly for housing personnel, declared that Egypt will be the contral flying depot of the East. In regard to civil aviation Capt. Guest explained that a subsidised London-Paris service will be run for seven months experimentally, the Air Council guaranteeing a profit of 10 per cent, to gach of the two firms' concerned. The Air Ministry would pay £75 for each single slight, provided that the maximam total did not exceed £25,000, to mach firm. The arrangement pro- vided for one flight nach way daily.

Government Considering A Systematic Inquiry.
