IRIDIAGNOSIS,
Detecting Illness by the Eyes.
Not by feeling the pulse and looking at the tongue, it is said, will the doctor of the future
diagnose the complaints of his patients.
In years to come, if the method practised by Mr. Clement Jeffery, M.A., is generally adopted, symp toms of ills will be gleaned from
the eyes.
By a peering, incisive look into the eyes, not only will the signs of present ailments be found, but there also will be learned the record of previous treatments.
A little fantastic though the claim may sound, it is not a bit ex- aggerated, says the London Star.
Mr. Jeffrey, who is a graduate, of Edinburgh University, has been expounding these theories, which he has proved in practice, at a series of lectures at Mortimer Hall, London.
