Inter-Hostel Football
League.
The University Inter-Hostel Football League was yesterday brought to a close when Lugard Hall, the winners, played against The Rest. It was originally in- tended that Mrs. Kotewall should "kick-off," but the inclemency of the weather did not permit that part of the proceedings to bej carried out. Nevertheless, a big crowd of students and their friends were there to witness a very fast and interesting game.
The match started with the Lugard Hall Eleven on the offen sive, and very early in the game they succeeded in scoring a goal- D. K. Samy, their skipper, being responsible. When the whistle was blown for the interval, the score was 3 to nil in favour of the winners, thanks to the good play of Yeoh and Samy.
The second half started well for the Rest when a fine shot! from Ting beat the Lugard goal-) keeper. A determined rush by the winners towards the close of the game resulted in another goal Semy again being responsible. The score at the end of the game was 4 to 1 for Lugard.
The presentation of medals, kindly given by Mr. R. H. Kotewall, then took place in the) Union Assembly Room.
Mr. Burney, the Chairman off University Football Club, ihanked| Mr. and Mrs. Kolewali for their. kindness and generosity and ex- pressed the hope that football, which has been so keenly taken up by the students, had come to stay. He referred to the very succesa-; ful trip the Football Club in con- junction with the Tennis and Basket-ball clubs, made to Canton. He also thanked Mr. H. P. White for his generosity in presenting the Inter-Hostel Football Challenge Cup, which will be given away on the Sports Day. He then called upon Mrs. Kotewall to present the ¡medals,
After the Kotewall
presentation Mrs. Was accorded three rousing cheers.
Mr. Kotewall humorously thanked the gathering for the won- derful welcome they had given him and his wife. He ended by kindly promising to give medals for the next Inter-Hostel league.
Mr. Roffey, the Warden Lugard Hall, and Mr. Mackintosh also spoke.
The results of the League for 1920-21 are as follows:-

The digestion resents what it accepted before, the heart palpitates on slight exertion, the muscles of the back! ache after a day's work. Your blood is thinner and not so bright red as formerly.
