Basing her schedule on a minimum of 17 knots per hour, this vessel will make the run from Hongkong to Victoria, B.C., and Seattle, Wash., in 20 days.

On Saturday, the 6th instant, under good weather conditions at King's Park Range, the H.K.V.D.C. shot off their watch against H.M.S. Curlew and made the remarkable score of 1,002, an average of 125 per man. This: leaves one match to be shot off, which is with "C" Coy. Wilts, before the Volunteers can win the shield. This it is hoped to get off on Saturday, the 12th: instant, at King's Park.
