Questions in Parliament.

London, February 24, In the House of Commons, Mr. Grundy asked if appeal Hom from the Bajah of Sarawak to the Governor of the Straits Settlements, and whether the British Government has any control over the adminis tration of Barawak, Colonel Amery replied that Sarawak was independent under the protection of Britain, whose Government had no control over the administration except within the limits of the agreement of 1888. Mr. T. Griffiths asked for a statement of the annual revenue of Sarawak for the past three years and the Colonel Amery proportion spent by the Rajsh and his family. replied quoting Departmental reports of Sarawak for 1918 and 1919. He had no information for 1920.
