TRAINING THE YOUNG "RED!'

Nurseries of British Bolshevism.

The fact that there are over one hundred Socialist Sunday schools. in the country at the moment is the unknown, probably, to majority of people, says Mr. H. J. Horby in an Edinburgh paper. Twenty of those schools are in. Glasgow, and there are others in Loods, Leicester, London, and other towns. The beadquarters of the movement is, situated in Glasgow, its stronghold, and is known A.S the International Proletarian School Movement (British Section.)

In these schools open revolu- tion and Bolshevism is_preached every Bunday. The Rod Flag aad other revolutionary songs take the place of hymns. The names of somo of the authors of these songs are instructive They include F. Van Alstine, Felix Adler, Gustav Spiller, Andreas Scheu, Jalsan Most, and Hoffman von Fallersleben. Truly the International Proletari and School merits its prefix !

The serious part of the matter, however, is the fact that these revolutionary Sunday schools are the most effective means of propaganda which the extremists possess. They take the child at s tender age, and by depriving him of the ordinary religious training and substituting a systematic grounding in materialism, class war, and discontent, they man- ufacture extremists at the rate of many thousands each year.

The offect of this poisonous teaching will not be apparent for a considerable time, but in fifteen or twenty years, if it is allowed to continue, there will be tons of

of thousands active "class conscious" revolutionaries in our midst, whose sole aim in life will be to overthrow order and govern- ment.

THE SINCERE COMPANY LIMITED BEG TO ANNOUNCE THAT BEGIN NING THE 11th FEBRUARY THEIR BUSINESS HOURS WILL BE REVISED AS FOLLOWS:-

8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Week Days

1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays

A moment's reflection will compel realisation ak the incalculable harm done by this peraicious instruction.

POTENTIAL AGITATORS. It is obvious that the Revoiu- tionary Sunday schools, while masquerading, under the title which, at first sight, has a flavour of religion, are in no sense religious, but ато displacing religion as rapidly as possible, substituting for it a gross materialiam which cannot but coarsen our national life.

These are the words used at a burial service in connection with the movement: "We were not Christians, we were members of the Revolutionary Working .we are Revolution-

Class.

ary Socialists. God."
