CRIMINAL SESSIONS.

Stolen Cargo Case. The adjourned Criminal Sessions was held this morning in the Supreme Court under the presidency of the acting Chief Justice, Mr. Justice H. H. J. Gompertz

Li Liand Le Le were charged, the former with the larceny of four cases of ploco-gooda and four bales of woollen blankets, and the latter with receiving them knowing them to be stolen.

Mr. F. C. Jankin, who appeare: ed to defend the second

man, objected, to them both being (charged together.

The Chief Justice I under- Įstood from the Crown Solicitor that you had no objection to these men being tried together.
