THE PARIS CONFERENCE.

London, Jan. 26

The Conference's appointment of an Austrias Committée is hallad with the livellest satisfaction in London. It is regarded as likely to lead to speedy settlement of one of the most pressing problems of the day. Since the Commissioners already havn covered mach ground It is understood that the Committee will be requested to tackle the task on the broadest basis and not to omi¿ Austria's neighbours from Leir calculations. As regards Greece, although the delegates unanimously desired to maintain the status quo, it was decided not to recognise Constantine but to deal only with the "Government, In consequence of several recently changed factors, Turkish polley pre- sents possibility of variation, and now it is practically certain that the Turkish Treaty will be modified, ons prominent proposal being the transformation of the Greek zone occupation to a zone of economic interest under the sovereignty of the Sultan and removal of Greek troops.

The feature of Chesterfelds is that they

begin where other cigarettes kurve off.

In other words, besides pleasing the taste, Chesterfields go them all one better-they satisfy! Just like a long drink of cold water satisfies when you're thirsty.

No other cigarette can give you this new enjoyment because none can copy Chester- field's blend.

It's a blend of the finest TURKISH tobaccos from Xanthi, Cavalla. Sziymna and Samsoun and several varieties of the choicest American. And the blend itself-the skill with
