CHINESE IMMIGRATION.

SirJudging from some of the remarkable figures given by Ajax "last evening on the earn- ings of the vessels of the Canton and Macro Steamboat Company during the recant immigration at Chinese from Canton, someone must have been "pulling his leg.” The Company has no vessel licensed to carry 5,000 passangers -in fack even 3,000 seems a bit over the mark.
