Britain.
A proposal found support that central research for the Empire for the investigation of fundamental problemas of forestry be ron- ducted in Great Britain. Emphasis was laid on the desirability of providing such post-graduate study, training and specialised tuition as was.demanded by the needs of the Empire.
In order to meet the requirements of parts of the Empire whbo have no University training in the higher branches of forestry it "was considered that the same central institute be suitable as a training centre. The question of collecting and exchanging seed between different parts of the Empire was discussed and the im- portance of cooperation was emphasised?
