The Times" states the Government has decided to carry out the resolution of the last Imperial Conference by immediately appointing an Imperial Shipping Committee, consisting of representatives of the Dominions and the Colonial and India Offices, Board of Trade and shipping interests. with a neutral chairman, to sarvey the whole question of Empire steamship communications, hear complaints of lack of facilities and suggestions for improving them, and devise a scheme whereby inter-Imperial communication may be maintained | most efficiently.
