OBITUARY.

MR. J. B*PATELL.

The Parsee community monrus the loss of one of its respected members in the death of Mr. Jehangir Byramjen Patell, which occurred at Shameen on Monday last. Deceased was in parfers) health up to the very day of his death. A sudden attack of paralysis appears to have been the cause of his demise.

Born in Bombay, India, in 1866, the late Mr. J; B. Patell came to China in May 1985 and so had resided in Hongkong and Shameen for
