X-RAY WONDERS.

Some remarkable indication of the great advance in the develop- ment of X-Ray were given recantly by Major G. W.C. Kaye, D.S.O at the Royal Institution. Ass practical demonstration, be showed the radiograph of a hand, taken in 1890, with a 20 minutes" exposure, and side by side that of a Bind taken in January Just, with as exposure of the one- hundredth part of a second. The latter was incomparably the most perfect production. A further Interesting picture was that of the band of an Egyptian Frinden of the Second Dynasty (about 4,200 B.), taken through the wrappings of her mummified mains, showing all the bones with great clearness, and a third finger Pictures
