London, May 18. In the House of Commons, Viscount Curzon suggested immediate reps to nrevent Japanese buying and owning land in British Crown Colonies, unless a similar concession were extended to British subjects in Japan.

Colonel Amery replied that it was not considered that there was suficient reason for the action suggested. According to the Government's information the question of a revision of the land laws in Japan had, apparently, been considered recently.
