ETRIAL FEES DOUBLED. The Vicar of Ilford, at a parish vestry meeting, deplored the fact that

bad increased in price. Even the burial feer had been doubled, be said, and the only things that appeared to remain the
same were the water rate and the marriage fee. People still got fosrried at the pre-war fee of a.. 9d. He thought it only fair that the clergy should ask for power to increase the marriage-fee.
