San Diego, April 8.
The Prince of Wales had a wonderful reception. He was welcomed by the Governor, Mayor, reception com mittee, and vast crowds including two hundred British ex-all-rankers. Pipers of the Seaforths and Cameroniana were headed by General Carruthers and the procession formed and marched to the stadium where an audience of 30,000applauded. In welcoming the Prince to their coun- try the Governor and Mayor spoke in cordial terms. Wales, replying, re-called his wonderful time in Washington and New York last ggar and said the present hospitality was equally generous The Prince has sailed for Honolulu.
