ROYAL COMMISSION ON AGRICULTURE.

London, December 20th, The interim reports of the Royal Commission on Agricult- ure have been published. The Majority Report is signed by twelve members and the Minority Report recommends that the minimum prices of wheat, barley and oats, grown in Britain, be guaranteed by the State, the pro- ducer having an unrestricted market but the State retaining control of prices in the event of a national emergency.

The Minority Report disagrees with the continuance of the policy of guaranteed prices of cereals.
