After a two days discussion, the Executive of the Socialist Party passed a resolution defining the Socialist victory in the elections as an act of complete solidarity with the Russian Soviet Republic and an order to the Government to recognise the Soviet.

The Executive insists on the Socialist group participating in the opening of Parliament to make an anti-Monarchical demonstration.

At a meeting of the Federal Council at Kuala Lumpur, Dr. Clodd suggested the building of a Pasteur Institule as a War Memorial.

The High Commissioner said in reply that it had been decided that the Memorial there should take the form of the constructipa of, a Union Jack Ciut.
