The death is announced of Mr. Henry B. Irving. [Mr. Henry Irving was the famous actor-manager, and was the eldest son of the late Sir Henry Irving. He appeared first on the stage at the Garrick Theatre in "School," in 1891. was called to the

BOMBARDMENT BY BRITISH FLEET,
London, October 17. The Daily Express Helsingfors correspondent says that Kronstadt has capitulated after bombardment by the British fleet. The main attack was directed from Kuporia Bay, and windows in the villages of Finland were blow out by the concassion of the all-day bombard-
